Repent. (To a generation) I want to start a 4 part series here with humility. I have never seen anything good happen with people, in a nation, or in history that did not start with a humble heart and repentance when necessary… and, it’s necessary. I represent American men, fathers, pastors/ministry leaders and business leaders. As a father I would like to repent to a young generation, (15 to 33ish year-old), and say I am truly sorry for not telling you that life is hard. Most of life is a fight, and it takes big balls, honesty and integrity...Read More

Lisa and I went and watched Brad Pitts new movie, World War Z – I know as Christians we take movies for ourselves much of the time, (Poor Mel Gibson and BraveHeart)! But, I must say, the movie, for us was very prophetic!! All of these lame shows about Zombies and the obsession this generation has with them is scary to say the least. I know many young people that actually believe in the zombie apocalypse, seriously. Here is what I believe. We are in the End Times, it started when Jesus went to heaven. For all of you...Read More
In the mid 1990’s I was privileged to be part of a distinct move of God. We watched the power of God, on many occasions, show up in many different ways. People were delivered from evil, physically and emotionally healed on a regular basis; we had encounters with angels and demons. It was a season of what I can best describe as “Power, not mere words” as Paul would say in the book of Acts. My three boys, Tyler, Michael and Caleb were very much a part of it. They watched things happen that most of their friends have...Read More

Had a friend yesterday remind me of what Job in the scriptures did to turn his horrific situation around. As most of us know Job was a very prosperous and successful man. Not only that, it says that he was “Blameless and Upright; he feared God and shunned evil.” Job 1:3 says, “He was the greatest man among all the people of the east.” It would be great for that to be written of you, wouldn’t it?! Then the test! You know the story; Satan came to God and was roaming the earth looking for someone to devour and God says, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him”. Now it’s hard for people to swallow this story, because they love an American Gospel where everything works and they want to keep the picture of God as Santa Clause…, but, this is a very real story, like it or not. We know the rest of the story; he loses his fortunes, his 7 son’s and 3 daughters were all killed – his livestock, reputation, all gone. His skin afflicted with painful soars, and he would scrape himself with a piece of pottery as he sat in trash. On top of that, his wife cursed him and told him to die!! Now that’s a pretty bad day… ever have a day like this, a...Read More
